OCIT Announces Summer Plans
Olivet College of Information Technology (OCIT) is planning several developments this summer in preparation for the fall semester.
"We're combing our curriculum for ways to improve, placing particular emphasis on bolstering student interest," said Program Director for the College William Wong.
"Our discussions have led us to consider more coursework in the disciplines of security and media," Wong explained. "The industry is emphasizing media and interactive applications on the Internet. And we are trying to put our students at the forefront of the Internet era."
OCIT is also planning to redevelop the current College website with changes to its organizational flow and design for improved usability and attractiveness.
More announcements from OCIT are expected throughout the summer as the school prepares to greet fall 2007.
